Mystery, Kamuning

Whilst commuting around the streets of Quezon City, on my way home I had randomly passed an enchanted fortress of antique stores by Kamuning. As cool as it seems, this store was packed full of surprises catering antique goods of orient and spanish decent through to old collections of records and gadgets, so right away I had to go back home and get the camera. I had talked briefly to one of the store owners who had told me everything about his store and how in time he collected all his items, could you believe that a lot of the items had be collected from abandon homes and every item had a story behind it. The gentleman was a human encyclopedia. There were thousands of items for sale, not everything you would buy (maybe from the furniture store)  but you'd definitely appreciate the quality and sentimental value behind it, such as a family portrait and a calendar dated from the 1800's. Uhh' now i think about it, how come I never took a picture of it?

The weather wasn't as hot that day so I managed to get away with layering my singlet with a button up. I was very casual with nothing important to do so I thought i'd keep it very street as I usually am.  Could you believe the blue button up i'm wearing is from Ukay(thrift)? Yea, its an old Tommy Hilfiger shirt and I wanted to experiment by applying patches to the elbows so if ever it was unsuccessful, I had not much to lose. Looks cool doesn't it?

The Nana Judy singlet I had got from Australia and the Skinny Carrot pants from Topman. They don't sell those pants anymore so I was lucky enough to just get one pair. Lastly, I had to finish off the bottoms with a pair of Vans. Vans are the best, you can wear them with practically anything and their very hipster and at the same time casual for an everyday pair of sneakers. Duhh.
