We Own the Light

Today I decided to change things a little by including a black and white post. I figured that seeing as I like to experiment with my fashion style, I might as well experiment with different styles of editing.

Although the black and white doesn't express the clothing's true colors, every piece of clothing aside from the VanishingElephant sando are black. The sando's actually a really dark, chocolate brown color. It's actually a really nice to casually wear as the material is really thin and I altered the neckline myself with scissors to make a bigger scoop. My black skinnies are by Cheap Monday, leopard framed sunglasses and fedora hat are from Topman, and lastly, my black leather shoes are from Zara.

Dog Days

Don't tell the authorities but it appears that I have an obsession for climbing onto building rooftops! Haha. My original outfit post was suppose to be shot in UP followed by some running with my mate Bobby, until it started to rain. Dejected, we then decided to head back home with our tails between our legs.

We are still unhappy about our missed opportunity earlier that we decided to blow off some steam at the gym. After burning some serious calories we walked outside to a pleasant surprise; sunlight! We quickly showered and ran upstairs to the rooftop to capitalize. Keeping with the summer theme, I dressed comfortably with my sando by Less Is More, some ripped shorts by MLD Denim, and lastly my Le Specs sunglasses I purchased back in Australia. Enjoy

Insomniac

I was late shooting yesterday so we decided to race down to Quezon City Circle, and capitalize on the remaining minutes of sunshine. The previous night I didn’t get any sleep at all as I was waiting for Bobby to arrive from Australia at the break of dawn!

As soon as we arrived at QC Circle all of the anxiety I had about not getting enough sunlight disappeared. Just seeing the families having a great time and seeing all the smiles on everyone’s faces set me in the right mood to photograph. Plus, I can’t look anxious with such a relaxed floral shirt on! Haha. Hopefully this pre-Holy Week shoot brightens up your day and gets you in the mood to enjoy the rest of the week.

Special thanks to ma boy Bobby Pallier

Floral button up short-sleeve from Vanishing Elephant, Scoop singlet from Nana Judy (Australia) and burgundy shorts from Topman.

#MagnumSummerFling P2, The Party

Magnum Philippines had done it once again! I was so overwhelmed on what a great job they did putting together an amazing summer bash, celebrating their introduction of the #Magnum collection. The party was held on the rooftop at The Tides in Boracay.

It was a star studded affair with a variety of the Philippine Celebrity World in attendance. This was always going to be the case with Starworld running the proceedings, capturing every bite. Although the weather was not at its Boracay best, we still managed to have a great time. As the raindrops began to fall, this was when the fun actually began! We all jumped in the pool and it felt as if we were living the teenage dream.

Special thanks to Andi Eigenmann for her underwater camera.

The burgers were absolutely mouthwatering... I ate 5 burgers that day! hahaha

Carlos Concepcion was the 'King of the Sea'

Towards sunset was my most memorable experience. Never have I partied till sunset like this! The photos came out so nice.

#MagnumSummerFling P1, Boracay Bound

As many people might have noticed on twitter feeds throughout the Philippines, Magnum Philippines had once again celebrated their debut of Magnum Ice-cream with the #MagnumSummerFling party held in Boracay. I was lucky enough to be invited as this was my first job abroad to blog about and it was within great interest to capture every moment as I knew that it was going to be a weekend to remember.

The best thing about this trip for me was that, the people who were also invited that I had shared the experience with were of my closest friends. It was the first for me to travel out of town with friends as a large party and the best thing was that everything was taken care of by the Magnum team. Let me say I was very blessed. I hope you guys don't mind, but I had to separate the blog post into two due to all the photos I took!
