The Esquire Ball

Time flies so fast and I still can't believe it's been a year since the grand debut of Esquire Magazine with our very own Many Pacquio on the cover. What a night that was last year! Of course, it's nothing I could ever back up again but no doubt about it, Esquire knows how to celebrate in style. Held in the Makati Shangri La Ballroom, the size of the venue was phenomenal. With over 500 people in attendance, there was still space to manoeuvre around without building up a sweat. Everyone was there, as in EVERYONE from editors & writers of magazines, businessmen in all fields and all the way to biggest celebrities of the Philippines showbiz industry. It was marvellous to see everyone go out of their way to look their best as the night just oozed of class and royalty. Let me share you my night in the ballroom.

I just knew everything had to be black and white. The images looked fine in color, it's just nice to see everything differently in this particular style. Reminds me of France just a tad.

Lau and I came in late as usual but we bring the fun to the party!

Lanvin oversize bowtie on the skinniest neck.

Bianca Gonzales was looking effortlessly amazing. She really grabs everyones attention with her beautiful look and of course, an awesome personality to back it up.

Good friend Nik Juban. This guy knows how to wear clothes and he's backed that up for a long time now.

CDO Getaway Part 1

It was about that time I needed to escape from Manila and venture to somewhere new, this time it was  Cagayan De Oro. It was only a few day before when it was decided as the opportunity was mentioned over a dinner with Laureen's high-school friends. At first I thought it was going to be boring thinking that nothing can compare the nightlife of Manila, but then again, nothing can beat travelling in groups!  It was a completely different kind of fun, an experience that made me feel as if I was a young boy again and something that was well and truly needed.

Our friend Ian had discovered a really cheap travel tour that consisted of a hotel, breakfast, travel van, zip-line, rafting and visiting numerous landmarks for all around P3,700! So you could how many photos I took haha. Well I've separated this trip into multiple blog posts so please stay tuned as the next   blog post will amaze you.

SM Ladies Fashion

Philippine Fashion Week has finally arrived! Although it started on Tuesday, today was the introduction of the corporate brands starting with none other than SM Department Store. It was only the moment I stepped foot in that I was notified that SM removed their Mens collection this year, so I became little unenthusiastic in the beginning. With me being a guy, it's understandable as i'm their to see what SM Mens have in store. Not a problem though because once the show started, the loud-heavy beat certainly grabbed everyones attention.

The fashion show was fab as usual and I definitely have to congratulate SM and its team who put together so many outfits, the show felt like it was going to go past my bed time. And having a waiter next to me the whole time with a bottle of wine, I nearly ended up finishing the bottle! Haha.

Tonight i'll be attending the Menswear Fashion Show. I'm quite excited, because the Philippines has good reputation for having the most radical designers who really know how to turn heads with their design and creative stage designs. I guess some of you fellow readers may possibly be questioning why i'm not modeling for this event? Well to answer that question, the show's definitely more exciting to watch than to model. Stay tuned.

An intimate celebration for Vice Ganda

Firstly before I get into things let me say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICE! Dinner was at 8:30pm, and as usual all the artistas arrived at unorthodox times, coming from shoots and meetings. I could very much tell that they were all tired at the time, so in-fairness, I give my hats off to them for making the extra effort for attending a last minute planned celebration.

I was so hungry when I arrived that when I saw the buffet, my mouth completely dropped and my stomach coincidentally started mumbling. The first dinner station was sushi for me! I cannot emphasize how much of a sushi fanatic I am and one day, I plan to set up my own sushi restaurant.

Towards the end of the night, Vice opened his presents and little did we know that afterwards there was another surprise birthday that Vice's close friends had organize. It was all the way in Quezon City, so we all had to beat him to the location!

The deserts were just simply indulging full of rich chocolate especially the chocolate fondue haha, oh wow i'm trying not to think about it right now.

Isabelle Daza looking all soshal making her way to the second birthday.

So we finally beat Vice to the second location at a Karaoke lounge where all of Vice's comedian friends got together. I swear, not even at one stage was there a point that no one was NOT laughing haha. It was hilarious, all the amount of talk that came out of people's mouths.

Unfortunately I couldn't stay for long but looking at all the Twitter feeds the next day, I could tell everyone had a blast.
