Camera Bossing

Nothing beats the refashioned look of the new vintage point and shoot cameras. So many camera brands are now bringing back the original look realizing that cameras are now a part of the fashion trends. But they don't come cheap - these bad boys can cost easily over $1000, just as much as a basic DSLR camera. Although they usually come in 10 megapixels, the sharpness of the majority of these camera's are just spectacular for something they you can easily hold in the palm of your hand.

Casual Streetstyle Inspiration

Nothing beats the relaxing feel of when we wear casual street-wear for the day - may it be either going out to the mall, meeting up with friends or even a family dinner on a Sunday afternoon. There are so many ways to wear different pieces, you can easily put together within five minutes and come out with something so effective through color patterns and or accessories.

It's always cool to see how people put together different outfits that reflect on their personality's.
For example, the first image show's how this tanned gentleman has totally changed the perception of his look by changing a simple preppy outfit and made it look so much more interesting through the hairstyle.

Taking the focus of a trendy backpack and combing it with an outfit of similar colors making the overall look so awesome! Likewise with the next picture - mixing patterns with polkadots opens up new styling ideas.

It's hard to come across Filipinos with rugged features such as sleeve tattoo's or heavy facial hair but when paired up with preppy clothes, it very much so gives more of an interesting look overall. Something that the ladies would definitely admire.

Original Penguin: A Ferris Wheel of Fun & Style

Contributing photography thanks to Ces Olondriz

Its was an amusing night full of fun and style as Original Penguin took the crowd on a fashion ferris wheel, filled with pastel tops, chalk-striped tanks and plaid button downs. With an inspired Coney Island feel, the stage design effortlessly grabbed everyone's attention within the vicinity of Greenbelt 5. Not only was I was lucky enough to be part of the fashion show, but I was also noted as one of the few personalities along with Xian Lim, Slater Young, Liz Uy & Raymond Gutierrez who were present. Aside from the signature penguin-labeled polo, Original Penguin have always had a strong reputation when it comes laidback smart-casual wear as their collections have been easy to mix and match. Now that seasons have changed, the new collection not only brings new flavor, but add more variety for this year's spring/summer.

Boss Hunting Fridays

Outfit: Versace Sunglasses, Banana Republic trenchcoat, Sahara white shirt, bow-tie from Aldo, Zara suspenders, H&M pants and Topman shoes.

I don't know if its to do with the change of season, or the Hermes 2013 Spring/Summer collection, but its well obvious now that I've been fancying dark blue colors. If you didn't know already, blue (navy blue in particular) is the new black and its been like that for quite some time now. So rather than purchase the average jet black jacket, go a few shade back and choose navy blue, or a nice solid light blue pastel. Whats great about these tones is that it works well with so many colors and its simply a more relaxed color of black. Instead of wearing a plain old belt, I also decided to play around with my outfit and incorporate polkadot suspenders with a striped bow-tie that a friend had given to me as a gift. Nice combination right?
