I don't know if its to do with the change of season, or the Hermes 2013 Spring/Summer collection, but its well obvious now that I've been fancying dark blue colors. If you didn't know already, blue (navy blue in particular) is the new black and its been like that for quite some time now. So rather than purchase the average jet black jacket, go a few shade back and choose navy blue, or a nice solid light blue pastel. Whats great about these tones is that it works well with so many colors and its simply a more relaxed color of black. Instead of wearing a plain old belt, I also decided to play around with my outfit and incorporate polkadot suspenders with a striped bow-tie that a friend had given to me as a gift. Nice combination right?

love your mix and match!
ReplyDeleteyou look so british here! the rainy weather adds to the effect! and i love your choice of the navy blue, and blue in particular..my favorite color :D
ReplyDeleteDapper! I love your take on Hermes SS 2013. The trench coat had a good reinvention thanks to Burberry 2009 ad campaign with Emma Watson and got more publicity when the Duchess of Cambridge HRH Catherine wore a trench coat by Burberry on a few occassions.
ReplyDeleteI admire you for going away with usual camel coloured trench coat and went for the bolder young colour of navy. I love the look today, though if I may, there is a tendency to be matchy-matchy. The bow tie could have been in a different colour/print to give your outfit more vigor. Perhaps a tie instead? Overall it is C'est magnifigue!
By the way love the new "Coat of Arms".
Yeah! Nice combination. :))
ReplyDeleteperfect for rainy days
