For those who follow my blog outside the Philippines who are unfamiliar with the city of Vigan, it is a World Heritage Site in that it is one of the few Hispanic towns left in the Philippines. Vigan is well known for its unique architecture that fuses Philippine and Oriental building designs and construction with colonial European architecture.

Everyone is very friendly to one another, very respectful towards each other’s privacy. The locals do as they please and it’s a really great vibe the moment you take your first steps throughout the cobblestone streets. Although we were a big group to start off with, we all eventually paired up into smaller groups so we could all do our own thing. The antique stores really got my attention, admiring the old furnishings and traditional catholic antiques. Everything was bargain and if I had the time and space, I would do all my furniture shopping in Vigan.

One of my favorite shots of the trip. The boys and I were fortunate enough to ride on the tray of a pick-up truck - something highly illegal back in Australia but was a great first experience. What was really funny was when the truck picked up high speeds, and seeing the reactions of my friends because they had little to hang on too. Hahaha.

I honestly felt like I was in outskirts of Barcelona

We ate too many Empanadas...

What started off as a simple conversation about travelling and sightseeing in the Philippines, actually escalated into an actual out of town trip to Vigan two days later. The biggest thanks goes out to Chelsey Singson for being able to make it all happen. I have been dying to get out of town for months now since arriving back to Manila from Australia, and when this trip was set in stone, I lost my shit! It’s such a dreamlike voyage to have the opportunity to just go out of town whenever you like, or even leave the country as you wish when you have your own private jet(s). What’s cool about Chelsey is that she doesn’t boast about anything at all like what I have actually witnessed from big-noters in the past. She’s a very humble breed haha.

As a young child, I would travel to Vigan often with my family to digest the picturesque, Spanish orientated town. From what I remembered at the age of 12 compared to now, I can actually say that it’s such a beautiful destination to escape to. Now that I’m a little older and more visually inspired, I’m really able to now appreciate the surreal feeling of travelling and sightseeing compared to back in the day when I’d find any form of travelling to be boring haha. You only live once, so absorb as much as you can before time runs out.

Stay tuned for more pics!

This was one of Chelsey's two private planes which I was totally blown away by. The plane we took catered to a larger group whereas her father's other plane is a legit Learjet!

Enjoy the slideshow!

So here I was, caught in the midst of the action. Everyone partying like crazy, running around with no lights on aside from the projector screen, which just so happened to be playing Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. An eventful mind-trip it was at the time and I made the right move by not turning back.

What happened after these photos – I wouldn't know, nor would I think would be appropriate to share haha. But let me say this, that basement is one hell of a mystery.

It was a successful turn out for Lyle & Scott as they relaunched their latest menswear collection, held at the newly anticipated Imperial Ice Bar, Fort Bonifacio. Models, bar tab, giveaways and the lot were happening all at the same time. Lucky for me, not only was I invited to attend the event, I was also included as part of the show. It was finally my night off where I could just drop everything and relax. But with that being said, shortly after my friends arrived, the night was then followed by an epic follow-up getting my rocks off on a wild adventure. Don't judge haha, it doesn't happen all the time.

Hideo & Fatima looked awesome together on the night. Great Company

Also newly engaged couple Anton Del Rosario and Samantha Richelle

After the fashion show, we were literally forced by the production to follow through with drinks and other mixed beverages, making it the perfect venue to kickstart my night. Each table was given shot glasses made up of tequila and water shots. Whoever was fortunate enough to down the tequila shot won a prize. Believe it or not it was me, and I went home that night with a P3,000 Lyle & Scott button down.

I thought this was a pretty awesome photo to include: Camera, Drink, Smoke. Can't go wrong for entertainment.

Haha I find it quite entertaining the fact that the title of my blog post states that I'm on duty, whereas the content of my pictures clearly state that the otherwise. After changing into my second outfit, I was given the opportunity to meet the marketing team of RWM as they were so kind enough to treat me merienda at Republiq Cafe. They were really down to earth and hospitable people, so we all got along really well which made the shoot feel a lot more relaxing and less tense. Seeing as the shoot was going to take another hour or so, it was nice and convenient to just easily find a restaurant to dine in on such short notice.

For my second outfit wearing Original Penguin as collaborating clothing apparel for RWM, I manage put together this dope khaki/green ensamble in a span of 5 minutes when I was picking out clothes from the Original Penguin clothing store. Not often would I wear khaki pants, but in this case, it really blends well when mixing and matching shades of green. Be sure to add some accessories like the cap I'm wearing just to take away the commando vibe, otherwise you're gonna look like you just came back from a Desert Storm operation in Afganistan haha.

Original Penguin fitted from top to bottom

Last Thursday I had the opportunity to team-up with Resorts World Manila in collaboration with clothing label Original Penguin. I have to be honest with you, it was the best tie-up ever. From what originally started as a simple outfit shot for RWM’s social feed, turned out to be an adventure exploring unforeseen areas of the mall itself, plus I had the opportunity to pick out anything from the Original Penguin store so I can show off my true sense of style.

Taking the liberty to finally discover Resorts World first hand with a guide, I was really overwhelmed to see what RWM had to offer.  You see, the majority of the times I’d only ever go to Resorts World would be late at night around midnight when I’d be fully intoxicated and stumbling into Opus or Republiq haha. So the only ever time I would actually arrive to the mall, would be when everything’s already closed and transformed into a designated night venue… Haha so now I think about it, I’m sure many people could relate to me on same subject.

So honestly, don’t be mistaken when you think of Resorts World Manila next time. It’s not just a well put together casino and night club venue, it’s actually an immaculate shopping mall for everyone and I’d highly recommend it to all families who are looking to try something different. Definitely an idea mall to spend the family with on a Sunday!

Stay tuned for part II

Little did I know upon arriving back to Manila it was already Holy Week. Ahh yes, the one and only week where you would actually find the majority of Manila deserted, as everyones already embarking on their summer festivities. The first day back was also the very same for me, having booked my trip to Sipalay beach with the family led by main man and cousin, Jing Monis of Jing Monis Salon. With Jing in charge and leading the way, it was no surprise that it was going to turn out to be one of the best Holy Week vacations I've experienced so far. Here are some of the photos taken last Saturday night with my cousin and his friends.
The almighty Ces Cho  from South Korea. Now  this guy is definitely a character of his own. Never have I met anyone with a persona like his and finding the right way to describe him is a mystery of its own. If we all tallied the amount of alcohol we  consumed that night, it would  no doubt be Ces ranking in as number one. With this guy being thirty somethin', by the end of the  night, he was the one barfing and  crawling his way back to bed! Haha what an animal... And believe it or not, this guy has a native tongue for tagalog.
